Usability is how easy it is for your customers to use your site to achieve their tasks, for example to find specific information, subscribe to a newsletter, make a purchase or give feedback. They can be limited by complex designs, poor layout or missing features. 

Accessibility is ensuring the largest and widest number of your customers can use your site whether able-bodied, have a disability or limited through technology or varying platforms (e.g. slow connection, handheld access, screen reader).   

Simple & Familiar 

We like to produce sites with good graphic design and simple interfaces to deliver quality content without confusing the user. The online shopping model has become more standardised so familiarity of the shopping experience is important. Fast easy to navigate shops convert more sales.  

Task Focused

A site must have good navigation, be easy to search and tasks orientated (purchase, make booking, find information etc). Analysing how user groups can achieve their desired tasks makes a site much more usable.

Technology

The use of table-less web design using CSS, text size control, news feeds, good search engine optimisation and meta tagged code can help accessibility to many platforms and technologies. Remember many will find information or navigate to your site from a search engine.
